Andy Roehr is a managing partner with Baker Tilly's energy practice. He has more than 30 years of experience in consulting, operations and sales leadership with deep expertise in conventional and “new” energy, environmental, social and governance (ESG), financial services, manufacturing and multiunit retail industries. His prior consulting practice development includes building “smart energy” teams for major international consulting firms, a technology/finance practice for a large U.S. consultancy, startup/IPO/M&A growth leader for a NASDAQ-traded company and technology practice leadership for two large consulting firms.

- Advisor to countries and communities developing “Smart & Sustainable” infrastructures including streetlights, distributed generation, environmental sensors, public safety monitors, energy management, hardscape solar and the business models to support their acquisition and operation
- Performed diligence on more than $600 million in M&A for various venture, institutional and PE transactions with a focus on technology
- Advisor to commercial, private equity and venture capital teams on emerging energy technology and transition topics including support for scouting, diligence and portfolio integration
- Extensive experience in the oil & gas industry (upstream, midstream and downstream/chemicals)
- Experience with energy delivery architecture, EV charging and development, outage and SCADA solutions
- Led numerous large-scale transformation programs focused on operational redesign and technology transformation
- Co-author or contributor to seven books on a range of topics from “Client-Server Computing” to “Building the Corporate Intranet”
