Brad Hambrick is a managing director with Baker Tilly’s real estate advisory practice. He has more than 20 years of experience specializing in real estate transaction advisory services including valuation, transaction due diligence and construction/development advisory assisting public and privately held companies. Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Brad co-led the real estate transaction advisory services practice at a large international accounting firm and managed the development and construction of large-scale infrastructure and commercial projects for various firms.
- Valuation (asset and debt) and diligence of various real property types including, but not limited to office, retail, multifamily, industrial, cold storage, senior housing, data center, hotel and adaptive reuse
- Extensive experience performing real property portfolio valuations and consulting for a variety of applications including purchase accounting, lease accounting (ROU asset and IBR estimates), impairment, fresh start accounting, financing and fund reporting (including SEC reporting)
- Valuation for tax purposes related to a $50 billion portfolio of retail assets (including $18 billion debt)
- Experience in valuing joint venture partial interest equity positions in real estate holding entities, providing opinions and analyses related to any discount/premium associated with the partial interest
- Real estate site selection and diligence for domestic and foreign inbound clients looking to build manufacturing facilities on greenfield sites, working in conjunction with tax incentives team
- Strategic advisor to a large city municipality as part of their restructuring. Performed a fiscal impact study related to development and redevelopment matters and presented to the city’s chief financial officer
- Benchmarking and market studies including, but not limited to, IRR, fund research and investor presentations for private real estate clients
