
Daniel Angstadt is a principal with Baker Tilly’s private power and utilities practice. Daniel has more than 10 years of public accounting experience focused on power and utility experience. His areas of expertise include serving publicly traded utility companies with integrated audit requirements, audits of annual financial statements and internal control over financial reporting, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting and comfort letters.
- Experience in integrated audits of energy and utilities companies
- Experience in Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) reporting and audit procedures
- Experience with 33 and 34 Act filings as well as Regulation A filing
- Significant experience working on a variety of technical accounting and auditing issues for clients, including business combinations, stock-based compensation and regulatory accounting
- Experience in financial statement audits of renewable energy companies
- Instructs firmwide training on integrated audit and participates in the development of tools and templates
- Member of the firm’s national SEC resource network
- Focuses on annual accounting, internal and external auditing updates and annual SEC updates
- Licensed CPA in Pennsylvania
- American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
