Eric Miles

Eric is the chief executive officer of Baker Tilly. As leader of the firm, Eric plays an integral role in executing the firm’s strategy, talent development and key initiatives to drive continued firm growth and employee and client success.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly through its merger with Moss Adams in June 2025, Eric served as chairman and chief executive officer of Moss Adams (April 2022-June 2025). He led firmwide strategy, governance, talent development and growth, helping clients achieve their goals while ensuring strong alignment across the organization. During his more than two decades with the firm, he held multiple senior leadership roles across consulting, advisory and risk services, including consulting managing partner; partner-in-charge of advisory services and business risk services; sector leader for technology, communications and media; and life sciences national practice leader. His experience spans oversight of national and international practices, development of high-performing teams, and delivery of a broad range of consulting and advisory services — from technology, risk management and internal audit to strategy, organizational design and performance improvement to client service across technology, life sciences, healthcare and public company environments.

Eric began his career in public accounting in 1997 and over the years gained experience in a wide variety of practice areas, including operations, compliance, accounting, information technology and fraud prevention. He was a founding member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Risk Assurance and Advisory Services Task Force, the goal of which is to position the certified public accounting (CPA) profession as the leader on enterprise risk management.
