James Hedderman is a tax principal with Baker Tilly. Jim has more than 20 years of federal taxation experience both in the public and corporate arena. He focuses on the ASC 740 accounting for income taxes and federal tax compliance area. As a principal within Baker Tilly’s tax evolution and automation (“TEA”) practice, he enjoys helping clients automate, think strategically and streamline income tax provision and tax return processes, consulting a diverse range of clients. He has completed deferred tax studies, implemented tax provision software solutions, helped clients remediate significant deficiencies and material weaknesses, and assisted clients through restatements, bringing long term value to the tax function.
