
Jessica Jeane is a director with Baker Tilly’s Washington’s tax council practice. As the firm’s tax policy leader, Jessica stays attuned to Congress and the IRS, providing timely insights into legislative and regulatory developments. She proactively collaborates with practice leaders to transform this knowledge into actionable advice and technical tax strategies.
Having spent much of her career attending congressional tax hearings and markups on Capitol Hill, as well as public hearings at IRS headquarters in Washington, D.C., Jessica possesses extensive legislative and regulatory procedural knowledge. Combined with her vast tax law knowledge, this makes her well-versed in the complex realms of tax policy and administration.
Before focusing primarily on tax policy consultation and instruction, she represented clients in a wide range of tax controversy matters before the IRS. Based in the nation’s capital, Jessica frequently speaks at national tax conferences and events across the country.
