He leads relationship expansion across the Southeast market, bringing more than 20 years of experience in driving business growth within private equity and real estate prop tech sectors. At Baker Tilly, he is responsible for executing and securing new business initiatives that align with the firm’s growth strategy. As a trusted advisor, he partners with premier private equity firms, portfolio companies and both private and public enterprises to deliver financial and risk advisory services that support investment life cycle goals.
Previously, John worked at an investment bank that has since merged with Baker Tilly. There he collaborated with advisory leaders to attract, acquire and retain clients, focusing on lower-middle market, privately held businesses with more than $1-10 million in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA). His expertise includes financial planning, strategic management and corporate finance advisory, making him a valuable resource for businesses navigating complex financial environments.
He also served as director of sales at a pioneering finance-as-a-service (FaaS) firm, leading engagements with private equity, venture capital and hedge fund managers. Additional roles as director of investment solutions and principal at software companies have further deepened his understanding of the financial needs of growing businesses.
