Ken has been a principal with the firm since 2004. With more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, Ken specializes in property and casualty, life, health/managed care and self-insurance, including captives.
- Oversees all assurance, tax and consulting services provided to the insurance industry
- Partner-in-charge of the financial audits of various insurance entities-statutory and U.S. GAAP financial statements
- Coordinates and reviews audit and accounting services and consults on complex accounting and reporting matters
- Experienced in all aspects of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting and filings under both the 1933 and 1934 Acts, communications with the SEC and initial public offerings
- Coordinates insurance industry services on behalf of Baker Tilly International
- Leads client engagement teams that deliver quality service and value to clients through understanding their business issues
- Provides guidance on accounting policies and procedures to improve the operations of the accounting function and to strengthen internal controls
- One of the firm’s liaisons with the NAIC and AICPA and serves as one of the firm’s senior members on insurance technical matters
