
Mark leads Baker Tilly’s business development for private equity in the San Francisco Bay Area. Baker Tilly serves a diverse private equity client base, from independent sponsors and family offices to mezzanine/junior capital sources to established multi-fund groups. Our clients utilize our deep industry knowledge, technical experience and timely delivery of value-added solutions for their financial and commercial matters, including assurance, forensic and litigation and tax, valuation and governance, risk and compliance.
Mark has an extensive history in business development across distribution networks encompassing private equity, venture capital, family offices, institutional limited partners, private banks, RIAs, broker-dealers and middle market direct companies. He has been recognized for his strong collaboration skills and effective communication. Mark is skilled in identifying, sourcing and fostering strategic partnerships that expand market presence and grow revenue.
Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Mark spearheaded the launch of a global private equity fund liquidity exit program that produced 25 new client services agreements, representing $2.2 billion of aggregate net asset value. Mark also collaborated with a private company founding team to successfully achieve a public IPO listing in 2023.
