
Michelle has more than 25 years of experience in research and development (R&D) tax credits and depreciation optimization through fixed assets analyses. She is the firm leader for Baker Tilly’s federal credits and incentives group, executing strategic and operational oversight of R&D tax credits, fixed assets and statutory credits within the specialty tax team. Michelle elevates the reach and breadth of these areas while teaming with leaders across the firm to maximize value for Baker Tilly clients.
Michelle is recognized nationally as a subject matter expert, publishing thought leadership and presenting on tax technical topics. She is sought after for her creative and entrepreneurial approach to optimizing tax deductions for her clients. Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Michelle was a partner with a Big Four firm – gaining broad career experience across numerous tax specialties, tax technology, legal business solutions and operations.
