Nate Voss is a principal with Baker Tilly and senior managing director with Baker Tilly Capital, LLC, the private investment banking subsidiary of Baker Tilly. He provides New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) consulting services to both community development entity clients and transaction consulting with a focus on borrowers interested in obtaining NMTC allocation. In addition to NMTC, Nate has worked on a broad array of financial advisory services including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing and business valuations across numerous industries.
Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Nate worked for six years in the middle-market commercial and investment banking industry providing advisory services to both public and private companies seeking acquisition financing, growth capital, recapitalizations, restructurings and covenant amendments.
- Baker Tilly’s NMTC transaction team has placed more than $4 billion of NMTC allocation. Nate has personally overseen the placement of more than $750 million of NMTC allocation with a focus on borrowers interested in obtaining allocation
- Experience in sourcing, structuring, negotiating and closing NMTC transactions
- Provides site analysis and due diligence regarding underwriting of NMTC transactions
- Graduate of a national bank commercial lending program
- Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 63 qualifications
