Rob Busch is a principal in Baker Tilly’s New England office and provides middle-market transaction advisory and support for the firm’s private equity clients, including financial due diligence and quality of earnings (QOE) analysis. Experienced in supporting both private equity funds and their portfolio companies, Rob’s expertise extends across both buy- and sell-side due diligence, M&A structuring and support, post-transaction integration, and litigation support. He works closely with funds across a wide range of sizes and stages, from emerging growth to established public companies.
In addition to his due diligence and transaction work, Rob has more than two decades of experience in audit and consulting, performing U.S. GAAP and IFRS financial statement audits as well as advising clients regarding capital deal structures, purchase allocations and addressing accounting and financial reporting issues related to derivative instruments (futures, options, swaps and swaptions), complex investments and alternative investments.
