Sam is a director with Baker Tilly’s global forensics and litigation services consulting practice. Working with both insurance and legal clients, Sam Jenks has accumulated expertise in the quantification of complex financial scenarios. He has evaluated financial losses in a wide range of industries and circumstances, including business interruption, increased costs of working, delayed startup, cyberattack, civil injury and contract dispute claims in Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He specialises in the quantification of major and complex losses in energy and power generation, manufacturing, oil, gas and petrochemicals, telecommunications and construction.
- Sam has been engaged as an expert witness for claimants and defendants. He has given evidence in Singapore Tribunal. He has also acted on numerous cases which have been settled in various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediations
- Sam has presented at several industry events and has in participated in seminars to clients and to colleagues on various topics including the impacts of supply chain and inflation on measurement of business interruption, economic impacts of cyber incidents/malware and how accounting concepts can impact insurance claims
