
Scott Schwertner is a principal in Baker Tilly’s state and local tax (SALT) practice.
He has more than 25 years of SALT experience, specializing in sales/use and severance tax. He has experience leading teams that provide sales/use and severance tax overpayment reviews, audit defense, tax research and best practice consulting across the United States. Scott has worked in both industry and consulting while serving clients in the manufacturing and oil and gas industries. He prides himself on providing best-in-class services while creating lasting business relationships with clients.
