Shannan Cuddy is a tax principal in our state and local tax services group, a practice within Baker Tilly’s specialty tax team. Shannan is a licensed attorney in the state of Massachusetts. She has spent more than 23 years consulting on a complete range of tax planning, compliance and consulting services including an in-depth, well-rounded knowledge of federal, state and local tax law. She is instrumental in helping businesses of all sizes and complexity, from venture-backed startups to global, publicly traded companies in addressing their state and local tax issues. Shannan’s areas of expertise include multistate income/franchise tax planning and compliance, sales and use tax consulting and compliance, ASC 740-10 analysis, ASC 740 tax provisions and due diligence consulting. She is also well versed in business structure planning, having assisted numerous customers in the realignment of their corporate structures.
Prior to joining the firm, Shannan spent more than 11 years in public accounting at Big Four accounting firms.
