Sommer Cannon is a managing director with Baker Tilly’s public sector practice. Prior to joining the firm, Sommer held multiple supervisory roles at the State Board of Accounts. Most recently, she was the director of engagement strategies, in which she planned and scheduled all audits for the State of Indiana. She was also previously the director of state audits, in which she supervised and managed the completion of the audit of the state annual comprehensive financial report and state federal audit. Sommer leverages this experience to bring a unique perspective on the financial compilation process.
