Stuart Hogan is a managing director with Baker Tilly’s forensic, litigation and valuation services practice. He has specialized in forensic accounting since joining Baker Tilly in 2011, with experience in evaluating economic damage and business value in insurance, litigation and corporate matters across a range of industries involving various circumstances, including: accounting investigations, breach of contract, breach of warranty in merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions, business valuation, compulsory purchase, fraud, loss fund reconciliations, loss of opportunity, loss of profits/business interruption, matrimonial disputes, professional indemnity, shareholder disputes.
From 1996 to 2011, Stuart worked in general accounting practice providing audit, accounting and business consultancy services to SME businesses and owners.
- Stuart has been appointed as expert witness and has been involved in the preparation of expert accounting evidence for court, arbitration and mediation, acting for claimants, defendants and as single joint instruction. This also includes attendance at expert meetings, conferences with counsel and ADR meetings
