Todd has worked in the health care industry since 1991, and started his career as an auditor with a Medicare fiscal intermediary. He’s highly skilled and knowledgeable in the revenue cycle aspects that impact and benefit third party cost reporting and net patient revenue.
Todd has operational experience and technical knowledge of completing the annual Medicare, Medicaid and California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) reports. He also has experience working with external financial auditors in the net patient service revenue valuation and at-risk capitation accounting.
Most recently, Todd was the reimbursement director for a large health care organization with over 1,660 licensed beds and $1.6 billion in net patient revenue. He was responsible for third party financial reimbursement, the development and monitoring of reimbursement policies and procedures, supporting the cost accounting updates, and assisting in long term financial planning.
