Will is a principal with Baker Tilly’s assurance practice. He is an accomplished principal with extensive experience in technology and professional services industries, specializing in audit and assurance, financial reporting analysis, quality control and compliance, risk management and client relationship management working specifically with middle-market software, software as a service (SaaS) and technology-related clients. As a proven leader, Will has served as the global engagement lead (GEL) on multinational audit engagements, and he has been recognized for his strong collaborative skills and effective communication. He is skilled in fostering strategic partnerships and contributing to a robust market presence. Will is committed to leveraging deep industry knowledge and strategic insights to elevate the firm and drive growth across audit, tax and consulting services.
Before joining Baker Tilly, Will directed complex multinational group audit engagements as the GEL, primarily catering to private equity-owned portfolio companies. He currently oversees talent development through active mentoring and recruitment to optimize team capabilities and performance.
- Spearheaded growth of prior firm’s Bay Area technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industry practice from inception to a team of 45, including seven partners, achieving $35 million in annual revenue through audit, tax and consulting services
- Led relocation from Chicago to the Bay Area, assisting with the expansion of prior firm’s Bay Area team from 65 to more than 300 members and increasing revenue from $10 million to $150 million
