Leo Alvarez (principal, Baker Tilly)“Industry has been waiting quite some time for the expansion of the TDR pilot program. It is hard to ignore these changes and what they could mean for the GSA Schedules long term.”
By now, you’re likely familiar with a memo released by the General Services Administration’s (GSA) senior procurement executive, Jeff Koses, regarding the GSA’s desire to expand the Transactional Data Reporting (TDR) program. Questions have since abounded:
- Will organizations report sales differently through other vehicles than they do through the GSA Schedules program?
- Is GSA going to require these kinds of additional data elements once their systems are mature enough to ingest and analyze this information?
- In addition to Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (MAIDIQ) vehicles like Polaris and OASIS+, might GSA require this long term for other GSA schedule contractors?
Baker Tilly’s Leo Alvarez (principal, government contractor solutions) spoke with Jason Miller of Federal News Network earlier this year regarding the possible impacts and unanswered questions surrounding the TDR pilot program expansion.
