On Oct. 13, 2022, Baker Tilly, along with the Indigenous Energy Initiative, U.S. Department of Energy Office of Indian Energy and Loan Programs Office and NAFOA held a webinar discussing the provisions within the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) specifically benefitting tribes and native communities.
Joel Laubenstein, Principal and Tribal Practice Leader, discussed how tribes can obtain tax credit funding through direct payments or tax credit transfers from the federal government for qualifying clean energy or efficiency projects.
