In our world today, we are connected more than ever through technology. This includes our buildings – from heating and cooling to lighting and door locks, these digital technologies have the ability to communicate with one another as an integrated system – making smart buildings our workplaces of the future.  

So how do we take advantage of these capabilities? And how do we protect our buildings? Because the more we are connected, the more vulnerable we are to potential cyberattacks.  

In this on-demand panel discussion hosted by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), we will give an overview of the current landscape in smart building design and operation, and elaborate on how the complex combination of networks, services, Internet of Things (IoT) and industrial controls in smart buildings are responding to new cybersecurity needs and supply chain security risk management standards for owners, operators, regulators and cyber insurers.
