Successfully navigating the CMMC and DoD's new interim DFARS rule

On Oct. 13, 2020, Baker Tilly’s Matt Gilbert participated in a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) panel discussion hosted by the American Bar Association’s Accounting, Cost and Pricing Committee. The discussion covered:

• Allowability of the costs incurred by contractors as they work to become compliant.
• What specifically government contractors are doing now to prepare their supply chains, including small business subcontractors and vendors, for compliance.
