M&A activity in Texas steadily climbs in the second half
While M&A activity in the first half of 2021 was slow with just 44 closed transactions, it picked up significantly in the second half with 72 closed transactions. These numbers are in closest alignment with pre-pandemic figures for the region, a great sign for H1 2022.
Additionally, the deal value for H2 2021 also increased to $14.9 billion from $10 billion in H1 2021, representing a substantial increase for the region’s deal activity.
