CHICAGO (Nov. 14, 2025) — Leading advisory, tax and assurance firm Baker Tilly and its client, award-winning engineering design firm IMEG, have been recognized in the professional services category at the 18th Annual Deltek Most Valuable Project (MVP) Awards. Deltek, a leading global provider of enterprise software and solutions for project-based businesses, presents this award to highlight outstanding project performance and operational excellence.
For this recognition, IMEG relied on Baker Tilly to implement an automated process for calculating unallowable travel expenses submitted through Deltek Time & Expense. The automation reclassifies expenses exceeding GSA per diem limits in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), eliminating the need for a third-party expense processing provider. The solution delivered measurable results, including a two-month payback period and significant annual cost savings.
“We’re passionate about helping organizations unlock efficiency through automation.” Baker Tilly Principal Dave Hickey said. “Working with IMEG allowed us to apply strategic guidance and technical experience to streamline a complex expense process. This project is a testament to how automation, when thoughtfully implemented, can transform operations and deliver measurable value in record time.”
“Choosing Baker Tilly was a game-changer for us. Their deep understanding of our systems and operational needs made it easy to collaborate and implement an automated solution. The results speak for themselves: faster workflows, significant cost savings, and a scalable process that supports our long-term goals. This project truly demonstrated the power of automation and strategic partnership," said IMEG Chief Financial Officer Roland Pulley.
“On behalf of everyone here at Deltek, congratulations to all the MVP award winners. It’s an honor to stand with our customers and partners to help them achieve their mission-critical business goals,” said Margo Martin, Chief Customer Officer at Deltek. “These winners are leaders in their industries, and we look forward to seeing how they grow in the years ahead.”
