Baker Tilly Partners with AICPA in Development of Dynamic Audit Solution

CHICAGO (January 29, 2019) – Leading advisory, tax and assurance firm Baker Tilly is proud to announce their commitment to helping the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) in developing a new standard for the future of auditing, Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS), based on the power of automation, data analytics and technology.

The AICPA selected Karen Larsen, Baker Tilly partner, as one of only four solution architects to assist them in creation of the DAS program. Larsen has extensive experience as the lead partner within Baker Tilly overseeing both the software customization and the methodology development and implementation that comprises Baker Tilly’s proprietary audit methodology.

The AICPA selected Doug Obermann, Baker Tilly manager, as a methodology developer to assist them in the creation and refinement of the DAS methodology. Obermann was a primary developer of internally created and produced trainings for the Baker Tilly audit methodology across the firm.
