Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Carol spent 10 years at a regional firm serving audit clients in the not-for-profit and healthcare industries. She specializes in insurance as well as not-for-profit and healthcare. In 2013, Carol was recognized as one of the “Top Women in Finance” by Finance and Commerce.
- Public accounting experience providing audit services to not-for-profit organizations, healthcare organizations and insurance companies
- Experience in financial statement analysis and communicating results through reports and presentations to management, audit committees and boards
- Experience in operation assessments, control reviews, benchmarking analysis and forecasting/budgeting specific to healthcare organizations
- Prepares comprehensive, detailed findings and recommendations outlining financial, internal control and operational improvements
- Reviews financial statements and disclosures to determine compliance with GAAP
- Identifies financial benchmarking information to benefit clients
- Develops tools and processes to enhance the client experience, working with additional service lines within the firm including, consulting, tax and business valuation
