- Leads engagement teams to efficiently deliver quality service and products to clients with a goal of exceeding delivery expectations
- Directs and reviews management and staff work on technical projects such as forecasted and projected financial statements, employee benefit plan audits, peer reviews, regulatory filings, and internal controls analysis
- Displays strong project management skills in audit, review, and compilation engagements for manufacturing and distribution entities with domestic and foreign subsidiaries
- Exhibits project management knowledge and understanding with public companies in their readiness efforts surrounding Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, specifically related to the documentation of the internal control structure, such as, determination of key control activities, remediation of deficiencies, reporting to management and their audit firm, and logistics related to these tasks to be conducted by our international affiliate, Baker Tilly International
- Conducts firm-wide training in auditing procedures, technical standards, and manufacturing industry trends and terminology
- Advises clients on buy-side and sell-side activities as a member of the Baker Tilly Transaction Advisory team, including due diligence, reverse due diligence, purchase accounting and price allocation, integration, and dispute resolution
- Directs partners on various technical matters related to generally accepted accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards as the Milwaukee office’s Regional Risk Leader
