Duncan has more than 20 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, executives, families with multigenerational wealth and family offices. He works across Baker Tilly’s varied service offerings to develop forward-thinking, custom solutions for every client.
- Provides a holistic, integrated experience for each individual or family, connecting them with specialists across our wealth management, client accounting and family business advisory teams
- Develops and implements optimized tax strategies to save clients time, money and stress
- Advises clients on sell-side transactions and family legacy planning post-sale
- Provides trust, gift and estate services, including trust planning, multistate and international estate planning, lifetime transfer planning, financial planning, wealth transfer economic and tax analysis
- Helps clients set up and manage private foundations and endowments from a tax perspective
- Helps clients with the setup and structure of their family offices for tax efficiencies, estate planning, and asset protection needs.
- Connects clients with other professionals across the firm that can help protect and enhance our clients’ values
- Understands the unique dynamics of family enterprises and provides forward-thinking consulting on how to mitigate issues
