
Eric Kegley is a principal with Baker Tilly’s financial advisory services practice. He is focused on transaction advisory services. His primary disciplines include acquisition financial due diligence, post-transaction accounting, debt and equity financing, financial accounting and reporting, audit preparation, operations consulting and employee benefit plan accounting. During his tenure in the consulting services group, he has advised on over 300 buy- and sell-side engagements across multiple industries, including manufacturing and distribution, retail, food and beverage, construction, real estate, energy and healthcare.
Prior to joining consulting services in 2015, Eric served in the firm’s audit practice where he attained the level of senior associate. His primary disciplines included financial statement attestation of public and private companies and audits of employee benefit plans. Eric has extensive experience across multiple industries including technology, manufacturing, real estate, oil and gas, and professional services. While in the audit practice, Eric also specialized in audits of employee benefit plans, including defined contribution plans and defined benefit plans.
Before joining Baker Tilly, Eric was a financial controls specialist at Texas based global building products distributor within their internal audit function. Eric specialized in Japanese SOX (JSOX) compliance, auditing the company’s operational and financial controls at both the distribution center and corporate level.
