
Ivan Cilik is a principal with Baker Tilly’s financial services practice. Bringing nearly 25 years of experience specializing in financial institutions, including depository and lending institutions, consumer finance and private equity companies, including publicly traded companies. He leads Baker Tilly’s credit union and banking practice and current expected credit loss (CECL) model validation team.
- Plans and leads assurance and advisory engagements, including audits, model validation and risk advisory engagements
- Provides advisory assistance to financial institutions related to model risk management, including credit, interest rate and liquidity risk
- Serves several large, mid-size privately and publicly held financial services companies, including providing technical consultations on accounting and financial reporting requirements
- Leads financial statement and internal audit engagements for a wide range of financial services companies and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants
- Provides consulting and advisory services on complex accounting matters, including fair value accounting and model risk governance
- Provides guidance on accounting policies and procedures to improve the operation of the accounting function and strengthen internal controls under the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards
