Jeffrey Davis is a tax principal in our state and local income tax group, a practice within Baker Tilly’s specialty tax team. Jeffrey brings more than 20 years of public accounting experience and serves as an expert in delivering state and local tax solutions. He joined Baker Tilly’s state and local tax practice in 2020.
- Assists clients with income/franchise/alternative tax, sales/use tax, credit and incentive, personal and real property tax, and employment tax matters
- Provides state and local tax services and solutions for companies in various industries, with specialized experience in the e-commerce and technology space
- Delivers state and local tax “value-added” services to clients through tax minimization strategies, revenue sourcing positions, tax risk mitigation opportunities, due diligence, audit defense, ASC 740 (FAS109/FIN48) and ASC 450 (FAS 5) determinations, and negotiated incentives
- Services clients ranging from Fortune 100 to closely held businesses
