Michael Diliberto is a managing director with Baker Tilly’s forensic, litigation and valuation services practice. He has been involved in the field of forensic accounting for more than 35 years. He has worked extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Europe with insurance companies and attorneys focusing the scope of his practice on forensic accounting, the measurement of damages and litigation support.
Michael has provided expert insurance services involving business interruption, property, manufacturing, inventory, power generation, product liability and recall claims. His expert litigation support services include lost profits, personal injury, defense costs, infringement, accounting malpractice, breach of contract and many more.
Michael is also a qualified expert in evaluating economic losses arising from environmental damages through OPA-90 oil spills and EPA chemical spills and contamination.
- Quantifying business interruption losses for mining, energy, foods, wafer/FAB/assembly, metal fabrication, ship building, furniture, defense and other production facilities
