Murad Nurmukhamedov is a director with Baker Tilly’s real estate and development advisory practice. He has more than 10 years of public accounting experience. Murad also has several years of hands-on real estate experience managing everything from concept to disposition. He primarily works with real estate owners, operators, developers, public housing authorities, public-private partnerships, syndicators and investors. Murad has significant knowledge and experience with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants (Fortune 500 companies) and non-public clients in various industries.
Murad specializes in client relationship management, and he brings together a team of Baker Tilly specialists across the real estate life cycle from concept to disposition to meet the needs of our clients. Murad is also a member of Baker Tilly’s real estate specialized groups focusing on services relating to the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and emerging and underrepresented developers.
Murad has held executive level positions with Big Four as well as top 10 public accounting firms providing assurance services to various industries including real estate, construction, banking and capital markets, insurance, food and agriculture, manufacturing, and healthcare. During his career, Murad worked on clients ranging from $1 billion to $160 billion in assets and worked on teams ranging from 5 to 40 team members.
In addition to Murad’s in-depth knowledge of technical U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), he is familiar with government and industry agency standards and guidelines including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
