Sara Rebman, tax principal with Baker Tilly, has been with the firm since 2010. She specializes in federal, state, local and international tax compliance and planning opportunities for middle-market corporations and partnerships in the retail, manufacturing, professional services and real estate industries.
- Plans and reviews federal and multistate tax compliance for C corporations, S corporations and partnerships
- Consulting and tax planning in regard to multistate apportionment and state unitary filing requirements
- Assists with tax consulting for business restructuring and acquisitions, implementing tax saving strategies and compliance associated with the transactions
- Review and preparation of federal, state, and international income tax provisions and financial reporting of current and deferred income taxes
- Experience with U.S. tax compliance and reporting requirements for controlled foreign corporations and disregarded foreign entities
- Provides dispute resolution services such as federal and state audit defense, tax delinquency settlements and appeal representations
