- Oversees all stages of planning and execution of external audits and audit-related services for a wide range of clients, from start-ups to large public multinationals in the technology, retail, energy and construction industries
- Led complex accounting consultations during her two-year term in the national office of a Big Four firm, such as revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), and stock-based compensation (ASC 718)
- Leads Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and International Accounting Standards (IAS)/International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) statutory audits, evaluating accounting topics under both U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS
- Experience guiding clients through the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) pre-clearance process on technical accounting matters
- Assists companies preparing to go public via a traditional Initial Public Offering (IPO) and Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) from start to finish, including deep knowledge of S-X reporting requirements, 409A valuations, internal control assessments and complex equity arrangements
- Detailed involvement in Form S-1 preparation and review, including management's discussion and analysis (MD&A), non-GAAP financial information and risk factors
- Offers insight on accounting policies and procedures to improve the operation of the accounting function and strengthen client internal controls
