Stephen is a respected tax professional providing client oriented tax planning, preparation and compliance services. He combines more than 20 years of entrepreneurial vision and expertise in tax planning and preparation, forensic investigations, expert testimony, strategic planning, accounting management and business development.
- Experience includes tax matters, litigation support and business management
- In depth knowledge of federal, state and local tax and compliance guidelines as well as U.S. GAAP
- Works with companies across a range of industries including real estate, manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, retail, professional services and entertainment
- Provides tax planning and preparation services including tax structuring for real estate entities
- Financial reporting experience includes audit, review, and compilation of financial statements and governmental “yellow book” auditing, compliance testing and reporting
- Leads engagements of due diligence, agreed upon procedures and forensic investigations
- Experience providing tax services, financial reporting and accounting, forensic services, expert reports and testimony for businesses and high-net-worth individuals
- Prepares and provides custom reports, court declarations and expert testimony
- Formerly served as CFO for a commercial and residential real estate company and a wholesale/distribution business
