Victor Geagla is a principal with Baker Tilly’s commercial services practice. Working primarily with owners, financial officers and accounting personnel in the construction, real estate and government contracting industries, providing assurance and accounting services to help them achieve their goals. Additionally, his long term client relationships have allowed him to act as a valued business advisor, assisting companies in compliance with documented policies and procedures, while working closely with senior management in delivering financial statement audits and process evaluations to help improve their businesses.
- Provides assurance and accounting services to construction companies, real estate developers and government contractors with a focus on financial reporting, assessing internal controls and risks, and providing recommendations to management regarding best practices
- Assists clients with financial reporting matters, including preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Supervises assurance engagements, including financial statement and employee benefit plan audits, and manages client relationships
- Engages with clients to identify the most efficient and effective approach to achieving their goals
- Victor’s client base consists of both large, consolidated, multistate corporations and small, closely held companies
- Leader within Baker Tilly’s Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Societal (DIBS) Impact Steering Committee
- Chairperson of NexGen signature initiative, a component of Baker Tilly’s DIBS initiatives
