The Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) represents a significant legislative effort to bolster domestic manufacturing and ensure that federal infrastructure projects support American industries.

Enacted as part of broader initiatives to revitalize the economy and enhance national competitiveness, BABAA mandates that federal infrastructure projects utilize domestically produced materials and products. In select circumstances, exceptions may apply, making the use of waivers an important tool to ensure BABAA project compliance.
