The business challenge
After finalizing a new support contract, the company introduced IFS at three sites in January 2018 and realized they needed a company to give expert support in a timely manner. They also needed various areas of expertise which required hiring at least a few individuals. The company wanted to use IFS as a full ERP system, covering the full life cycle of their products. The key challenge was to find an IFS partner who could help them achieve this.
Client Business Systems Integrations ManagerWe completed a comprehensive search for suitable companies and shortlisted four or five. Out of those, we chose Baker Tilly. We were impressed by their ambition to always put the customer first, their flexibility and their synchronicity. Other companies we looked at were just too rigid in their approach.
Strategy and solution
Baker Tilly was able to simplify some of IFS’s functionality by providing timely customer service, expertise and short response times. Combining the company's product, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory, logistics, finance, sales, case management business operations, Baker Tilly improved their development and customer support times.
Wanting to grow their business and operations with IFS, Baker Tilly has also worked to develop their IFS solution.
