Oracle Redwood is a user interface designed to enhance usability, improve accessibility, and create a more unified user experience. Among the many human capital management (HCM) modules affected by the Oracle Redwood transition, Oracle Talent Management has experienced substantial transformations, impacting areas such as goals, career development, performance management , talent profiles, talent review and succession planning. Several advantages that the Redwood Talent Management release accomplishes include but are not limited to improved employee retention by keeping workers engaged and connected, increased accessibility and efficiency for managers through enhanced workforce development and talent insight with embedded artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
Oracle Talent Management Redwood seamlessly integrates with the Oracle ME employee experience platform, which includes applications like Oracle Grow and Touchpoint. These applications enhance job satisfaction through growth, achievement, motivation and creating a positive environment while leveraging AI to improve skills and recognition.
Oracle Grow enhances employee engagement and satisfaction by providing clear career paths and development opportunities. Business leaders and HR gain better visibility into workforce development needs, while employees benefit from personalized insights and tools to advance their careers, leading to improved performance and career satisfaction.
Oracle Touchpoints enhances employee engagement and job satisfaction by facilitating regular communication between employees and managers, recognizing achievements and enabling continuous feedback.
Another benefit that Redwood for Talent Management brings is increased efficiency and insight which is particularly evident for managers. Several new Redwood updates align with this accomplishment including the centralization of information on the Team Goal Center, performance and Team Activity Center pages.
The Oracle Redwood Team Goal Center page is a centralized hub where managers can view and manage both performance and development goals for their team members. It provides detailed analytics on goal statuses (e.g., not started, in progress, completed) and approval statuses, giving managers a clear overview of their team's goals. Managers can take actions such as mass assigning goals to team members, streamlining the goal-setting process. Additionally, it enables managers to switch between teams to view analytics for lower-level managers, ensuring comprehensive oversight.
The Team Performance Page offers a personalized view of employees’ performance documents, goals and feedback, making it simple to track their progress. It allows managers to efficiently evaluate team members' performance with easy access to performance documents and feedback requests. Additionally, the enhanced All-In-One Evaluations interface enables managers to evaluate multiple employees en masse, using the same performance documents, reducing the number of clicks required to complete performance reviews.
The Team Activity Center is a centralized platform that enables line managers to efficiently view, access and manage all employee-related information. Managers can perform tasks related to employment, compensation and talent management, while also switching between teams to view analytics for lower-level managers. The platform also supports communication tools like HCM Communicate and Journeys to announce news and important information to the team.
Oracle’s recent AI capabilities are revolutionizing workforce development and talent insight. These innovations not only optimize workforce performance but also provide predictive analytics to ensure a more effective and engaged workforce.
