Recent developments in investigations: what we’ve learned from a year of remote investigations and implications for the future

Conducting an effective and thorough investigation into alleged wrongdoing has always been a hallmark of an effective compliance program. Unfortunately, many of the investigations fail to achieve their intended results, especially when the investigations are handled remotely via videoconferencing.
