In 2019, the Metlakatla Indian Community, an isolated Island in southeastern Alaska, was in the midst of an energy crisis. Baker Tilly worked with the community and to replenish their resources, including their diesel fuel and hydro supply, as well as restructuring the utility. The community now has fuel in their tanks, water in their lakes, and is looking into future wind and solar energy solutions.
